The Internal Affairs Division is responsible for maintaining integrity and accountability within the Highway Patrol. This division conducts impartial investigations into officer misconduct, use-of-force incidents, and violations of department policy. IA operates independently from standard patrol operations to ensure neutrality and fairness. Officers assigned to IA are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards, safeguard confidentiality, and promote a culture of professionalism throughout the department. Clean Disciplinary Record
Proficient knowledge in report writing
Ability to keep information Confidential

Detective Division

Canine Operations Division
About Us
The Canine Division is a specialized unit within the Highway Patrol Bureau of Investigations that supports patrol officers and detectives through the use of trained police dogs. K-9 teams are deployed for tasks such as narcotics detection, suspect tracking, area searches, and officer protection. Each K-9 handler is paired with a certified dog trained for specific duties, ensuring fast, precise, and tactical responses in high-risk situations. Ability to train your Canine even while not on duty
Must be able to take your Canine Home.
